Lucky week

Hello everyone!! Can't believe I survived the school days, it's FINALLY FRIDAY!!!!!!!!! Tomorrow is Chinese New Year's Eve, HAPPY HAPPY HAPPY GIRL IS ME ☺☺☺

Feeling extra lucky this week because I found my long lost eye-liner (after months I think haha) in my huge mountain of bags just in time for CNY + $2 was found at the back pocket of my another bag HAHAHA. Small/little surprises can make my day or even week :) 

My luck doesn't end here!

This has been my meal once or twice a day (dishes varies) for TWO WEEKS. Well, I ate a bit of rice during Reunion dinner last week hehe. I ate goodies, chocolates or chips to make up for the other meals (Lol so much for the diet) almost everyday and I still managed to lose weight! But anyway I'm going to gain it back during CNY. My diet plan sucks.

Though I was already very broke, I still managed to buy the shoes I wanted for CNY with my own $$$ and now I am extremely broke. Left with a few bucks only I think BUT, I am going to be rich again in a few days time because I get to keep my birthday red packets! 

 HAPPY CHINESE NEW YEAR'S EVE EVERYONE, STAY HAPPY AND GOBBLE DOWN ALL THE GOODIES!!!!

Reunion Dinner - Part 1

First up, Yu Sheng! Traditional dish made up of shredded vegetables, crackers, raw fish(Salmon) and sauces all mixed up together and blessings will be said at the same time while mixing. 

I only eat the crackers (which represents Gold) as I don't eat vegetables. Meaning that I'll be rich this year HAHAHA!

Shark Fin. Another must-eat dish for Reunion dinner.

Steam Fish with Sambal chilli. Tasted alright.

Duck with herbal soup or something. My first time trying, don't really like the soup but the SKIN IS AWESOME!!!!

MAJOR LOVE FOR PRAWN BALLS!! 

Had 5 of them hehe. I'm bound to grow fat during this Chinese New Year.

Try to imagine the size of the prawn ball HAHA. Salivating..

Chicken (No other fanciful name I can think of haha). Again the SKIN IS THE BEST!!!! Oh gosh I can literally feel the saltish flavour in my mouth now HAHA. 

Abalone with Mushrooms, Fish maw and Mushrooms. By this time everyone was so full already because the portion for each dish was really huge. Did not ate this at all cause none suits my taste haha. I admit I can be rather picky when it comes to food. 

Lotus Leaf Rice. It was.... normal. 

Mango pudding for dessert! So happy because normally my family will change the dessert to Yam paste which I don't really like.

Another Reunion dinner on this Saturday at my Granny's place, this time round it's home cooked. It's been so long since I ate food cooked by Granny, I seriously can't wait super excited!!!!! Every year I will "place" the order of all my favourite dishes and Granny will cook it, together with Grandpa hehe. So much love :)

Officially 5 more school days for me and it's the holidays!! 2013 has been treating me well so far  ☺

Granny always loves me so so much :') Very touched by her because she never fails to surprise me with my favourite food every now and then. Every time we're outside and I see something I like, she'll say: "Just buy what you like, Granny will pay!" But I don't always buy because I will feel guilty for spending her money HAHAHA. This time, she bought me egg tarts from Malaysia (I did not went with her, but she still thought of me), SEVEN of them!! I shared it with my sister. Love the fact that even when we don't meet up much, she still thinks of me often. I love you very much Granny ❤ ❤ ❤
