Air Fry Food

My mum won a Air Fryer during her company's staff party and we finally brought the machine home from her office after weeks! Over the weekend we tried frying some food including Popcorn chicken, Curly fries, Nuggets, Broccoli(?!!!) and Salmon!!! Salmon tasted the BEST and it's a must-fry!! Hahahaha. We fried other stuff too, more photos on my Dayre! Just wanted to share my experience :)

Trying to put in some effort to keep this space alive.. Dayre is more convenient(I think I've said this many times lol) but afterall, I had this blog for around 7-8 years already, since Upper Sec :)

Omg I uploaded photos onto Dropbox from my phone so I can post it here but I just realized the desktop I'm using now don't have Dropbox?!! Urgh.

Hi guys I'm still alive *waves*

Did I mentioned that my laptop has died?? I'm literally depending on my phone for contact with the virtual world lol. I now watch lesser dramas and variety shows too sobs. All my entertainment needs are settled with my iPhone. I really pray I won't spoil it because I can only renew my contract in August 2016.

I'm pretty active on Dayre though! :)

During the bus journey from work to home earlier on, I was thinking about opening a F&B business in future. Maybe when I'm 40? Or late thirties. Hmm I thought about the concept of my Restaurant/Cafe(I can't make up my mind), the menu, interior design, job positions and who would be in-charge, the location and many more other factors! Hopefully this can be my "retirement" plan! But of course I would still be busy running the business everyday *laughs*.

My grumbling stomach calls for a break from elaborating more on this idea. Time for dinner! I will be back to continue soon, with a new or at least repaired laptop! *cross fingers* Typing this with the slightly old and lagging desktop at home...

Oh this is the best!!! Beef cheeks. I wasn't expecting much but OMG this was so delicious. The sauce got thicker towards the end yums.

I finally tried Martini. The description states vodka with apple but I had my doubts. There should be a concoction of other stuff too right?? But nope, the cocktail tasted exactly like vodka and apple. Bleh. Haha.

So many upsetting and disappointing things happening these few days... Not only about my Grandfather but two other things as well. Why does all the bad have to happen at one go?? My heart won't be able to take it if any more bad were to happen ):

Oh life.. When it doesn't go your way. Worse still, my intuition and prediction was right and there is nothing I can do about it because I don't have control over my life.

I honestly can't wait for 14th May to come. I can't wait to leave Sg, leave behind reality and enjoy that few days of holiday. 

I pray that better days are to come. 

I pray that I will stop relying on others for happiness.

Thoughts

My mundane, routine life everyday is just so... discouraging. I really feel like I have no purpose in life right now?? It's the same for me on every weekday - work. Well I do it for the money of course. I try to be more "productive" by accomplishing/doing other extra stuff like running errands after work or recently I just tried, rushing home and out again to go for a swim. It's tiring yes, but it feels good inside. I used to head straight home after work btw.

Tomorrow is Monday again... I am honestly trying my very best to appreciate every single day? I know there are people out there who are having even more harder days than mine.

Looking forward to Saturday though haha. Cy is staying over and we are heading to Jurong East swimming complex like finally!! I can't wait. Imagine lying on the float in the middle of the wave pool with the cold shower drizzling down on you when the wave is here... Life is good.

As for now.. I'm going to watch my favourite triplets on Return Of Superman then turn in for the night. I hope everyone have a great week ahead! :)

Friday's dinner was at Antoinette. 

I won't be going back any time soon though because I have tried the all the food and dessert I wanted to try hahaha. It's so much more worth it than Marmalade Pantry?? Moreover prices for some main course was a few bucks cheaper too.. Oops. 

Crab Pomodoro - $26++

Slightly spicy which I like. 

Gnocchi Carbonara - $22.50++

Quite excited for this dish as I have never tried Gnocchi before. It was too starchy for my liking. Great that they pan-fry it though. But I still prefer my spaghetti :)

Antoinette - $10++

Here's my vague description of the cake: Chocolate mousse infused with Earl grey with a crunchy praline base. Lol. It was not bad, but I feel once is enough.

Chocolicieux - $18.50++

I particularly love the crepes here!! It has a chewy texture? The square biscuits at the side was SO GOOD. The taste... Omg best. Definitely better than Max Brenner I promise you.  

Pretty cakes!! Not interested because my heart is still with Lady M's cakes..

I was a little surprised when I saw the Macarons as they had all my favorite flavours?! Earl grey chocolate, Passion fruit chocolate, Pistachio and Praline... $2.50/pc.

Nearly bought a wallet from Kate Spade!! But the one that caught my eye did not had a plated logo.
