Went to look for Gene on her Graduation day 2 months back and we planned to have a good meal beforehand so we settled for Five & Dime since both of us wanted to try their famous Mentaiko Pasta and it was my first time visiting a cafe! Well not exactly.. The other time was at 49seats but it was a free meal from the cafe so not counted haha.
Mentaiko Pasta - $18
A decent plate of pasta but I was a little disappointed. Thought it would be creamier and the spaghetti would be Al dente..
Shrimp Gratin - $12
Surprised to see mentaiko inside(yay!), both of us preferred this dish over the pasta.
