BKK Trip Part II

There's still a Part III for this trip hahaha.

Platinum Mall is always crowded including its Food court because it's quite big and there's KFC at the side. Just so happen Sis went to Krungthong Plaza and found out that the Food court there is cheaper and have yummy food as well. If I am not wrong, Krungthon Plaza and Platinum is connected by a overhead bridge with each Mall at the opposite end.

Cannot remember the exact price but it's soooo cheap like $1.60 - $2.40.

My favourite mini sausage from Pratunam!! Had this for three to four consecutive days hehe. 30baht for 3 sticks, they have mini meatballs too!

MacDonald's large fries for only $3+!! $3.20 if I am not wrong.

Additional sauces for 10baht each. Sour cream & Onion and Cheese dip. Both tasted normal.. Worth the try though since it's only 40cents!

MBK Center.
The two sisters shopped for handphone covers while I eat with Mum hahaha.

I was randomly walking around at the basement I think and this caught my eye..

CHEESE POTATO!!!
$3.40 super worth because just look at the amount of cheese and the size of the baked potato!! From a shop call Santa's. Don't judge this potato ok HAHA I know the cheese may look 'plastic' or something but it's DAMN GOOD.

Love the cooling feeling that Mint Ice-cream will leave behind.

OMG and I finally tried this!!!
Looking like a Aunty here with my hair tied but I really couldn't care less because it was so freaking hot.

Regret not slowly eating this then because I was perspiring and the pancake was very hot so I sort of just gobbled it down. It's delicious btw. Crispy on the outside, with banana and 'nutella' on top mmm yum.

T&K Seafood at Chinatown during one of the nights. We heard that this Seafood Restaurant is very popular and indeed it was. I was surprised when they said there are many seats inside and turns out this restaurant is at least 4 levels high??! But each level can only sit not more than 20 people.

I had a good impression of this restaurant until I tasted the food... It was really not fantastic. Or maybe I had high expectations of this place. Nope come to think of it I am actually quite disappointed at the standard of their food. Cannot be too mean haha but I am not going this place ever again!!

My Mum's fried rice is definitely better than this!! How should I describe this plate. The rice is not flavourful enough, it was loose(?). The rice just went all over inside my mouth the moment I eat it. Oh nevermind I give up describing food.

Thai massage for only $8/hr!! Their techniques and strength really power HAHAHA I was enjoying and feeling tensed at the same time. Super good and worth it to the extend I feel $8 is too cheap for an hour hmm.

Ending with the most random photo. A tree from the lobby at Baiyoke Sky.

Food list

Current restaurants & cafes I want to visit

The King Louis
Coco Ichibanya
Marmalade Pantry
Max Brenner
Standing Sushi Bar
Omakase burger
Pique Nique
Concetto by Saveur
Hatched

So far I went Max Brenner once only, would love to visit again although I had quite a terrible experience the other time because I ordered the wrong item and I overestimated my appetite. This time round I am going to either share a plate or have it for lunch/dinner and not as dessert after a meal.

Anyway, I am thinking of switching to Wordpress because their layout appears neat and simple to me but I have to figure out how to use first haha. For now I shall stick to this space :)

Graduation 2014

Sorry about the short hiatus here, not updating this space for more than a week. I finally got my long-awaited break of 10 days!! I really really miss waking up naturally instead to the sound of alarms(I think I said this before) and yes I can finally sleep past noon hehe. If you've seen my Instagram or Facebook you would know that I recently graduated from Poly! Adding another unforgettable day in my life.

I post some photos here only ok? The rest are on FB. First few photos are taken by sis :)

Thank you for coming down!! Especially my Granny for dressing up and all, love you so much

With my childhood friend :)

One of my good friends in Poly, Ain.
Everyone was so busy after the ceremony including myself that I did not have time to take photo with my other good friends noooo ):

Granny said she want to try on my robe and so she did. So cute! This should be her first time wearing a robe hehe.

Thank you Eldest sis for the flowers!!

After the ceremony Granny insisted on giving me a treat(hehe she loves me so much) so we went to Manhattan Fish Market but sadly the food was rather disappointing and I did not get to try what I wanted. So I can't wait to have another good meal with Granny!! Thinking of where should I bring her..

让你破费了奶奶!

Thank you for the treat!!!

Looking at this photo now it seems surreal because I still cannot believe that 3 years have passed and that I am officially a graduate & alumni of RP. I still remember the first time I stepped into RP as a student it was during the Freshmen Orientation Programme. I felt really lost and overwhelmed because I was at my lowest in life that period of time due to some personal matters and I really hated Poly life as I was still quite attached to the life in Secondary school. Then I met & made some friends, life got easier because I had shoulders to leaned on and by that I mean many of my new friends really cared for me. They chat with me often be it face to face, over the phone and even FB pm me during lesson. I remember a friend even offered to send me home because I was feeling so down that particular day in the first week of school. Some even sacrificed their break time just to console me and gradually I 'recovered' and that was when I started to truly enjoy Poly life. Though most of us are now hi-bye friends I am still glad that I met all of you and thank you so much for being there when I needed someone :') Right now I really miss everything about Poly life but I am happy that another milestone in my life has been completed :) I finally got my Diploma and next up, Degree! Hopefully I get a positive result.

Happy Graduation fellow Graduates!!!
