Busy

I somehow got myself 2 unstable part-time jobs... As in the timeslots and number of working days are not constant. I was hesitating here and there so I was thinking why not I just get both and I can give up one when I feel like it but after thinking through I realized it won't be easy to let go but it's too late already. I am not regretting because one of the job pays really well just that I have to make sure the jobs timings will not clash with each other which is pretty hard to settle because both jobs' working date and time are so unpredictable. Kind of settled my working days for April but there's still May and June....

Itacho Sushi

Went ITACHO a couple of times the past few weeks and I compiled all the photos since the food we ordered are almost the same. Treated Granny once, she say the food is really nice! Very very affordable too. 


Cream Croquette - $4

This is a must order for me every single time but not because of the croquette, but for the SAUCE. The sauce goes so well with fried stuff!!! 


Tamago stuffed Curry Lobster - $4
Tamago stuffed Spicy Salmon - $3.40

I like both fillings :)


Curry Udon with Pork Cutlet - $11

Overall I think the Udon and Pork cutlet is quite nice just that the curry kind of tasted a little powdery to me but my sister and granny love the curry a lot hmm. Try the Udon though!! It's quite springy. Maybe another soup base?


Salmon sushi with Mentaiko 

Can't remember the price but it's cheap haha. I ordered this but I did not eat because it's raw...


Pork sushi - $0.80

It's $0.80 if I am not wrong. Tasted alright. Wouldn't waste my stomach space on this though, rather eat more Croquettes hahaha.

Actually there is another lunch promotion(2pm - 5.30pm, if I am right), if you ordered 12 original priced sushi OR hit $10 worth of original priced items, there will be a free drink. Thus we ordered so many sushi and there are still more that I did not post here hahaha.



I went to the JCube outlet, located at Level 2 and the crowd starts coming in at around 5pm and there was once I had dinner there till 9pm, the restaurant was still damn busy!! I think the best timing to dine there would be 2pm - 5pm because "busy restaurant = no waitresses to attend to your needs = no extra sauce" hahahaha.

Feeling a little sick for the past few day and it comes with the whole package.. My body is aching, sore throat, headache, nose bled and bruises are still not healing after almost a week. On a side note, 2 trips are confirmed this holiday!!! Really can't wait!!

20th Birthday - Part II

2 days after my birthday is Valentine's Day and I spent the night with my bestfriend, Genevieve. We wanted to try La Strada for the longest time and finally had the chance to do so that night! Unfortunately, we chose the wrong day to dine there because they marked up the price and the restaurant was sooooo packed and noisy..

Chitarra Carbonara - $30++ (on Vday)

On normal days it cost $25++ and even more cheaper if you go during their lunch hour because it appears they have a promotion for set lunches, according to their website. But anyway, I was very disappointed in what I ordered that night because the pasta was overcooked(look at the photos below)... And there was no truffle taste at all when in the description they stated it's Truffle butter sauce?!! Might be due to the overwhelming crowd thus the drop of standard. I would still visit the place again but not any time soon. 



Vongole - $30++ (on Vday)

Surprisingly, the Vongole was good!!! Even the Linguine was cooked Al Dente. $20++ on normal days, according to their website. But still, go for the set lunch promotion!!



After the meal we called for bill and this girl gave me a surprise by paying for the meal...

Coincidentally, Valentine's Day was also the last day of school. Farzanah surprised me with cupcakes that has my initials to make up for my birthday and a classmate of mine gave me another cupcake but I forgot to take a photo hahaha. 


I was eating/feasting for my entire birthday week hahaha. The last treat is from Lijun, another bestfriend of mine since Primary school.




Didn't know I would actually crave for something from Pastamania haha but after that day, I have been craving for their Tom yum pasta!!! The sauce is SO GOOD.



That's all for my 20th Birthday!! 
I think almost everyone treated me to food because they all know I love eating hahahaha.

Troubled

Feeling damn frustrated and annoyed right now because of the registration for University!!! I really hope I can settle everything in the school instead of having to apply online first because I have many doubts still left unclear ARGH. I don't want to go for any pre-requisite modules and I certainly don't want to not get the minors that I want after registration!! Actually because of the exemption, I can just study 12 majors modules only but the modules seem really tough and I don't want to have a hard time in the process of getting a degree... So I planning to choose another course instead but it consists of minors which is already in the major modules so here comes the pre-requisite modules problem because I have to choose minors from another course.

Feeling a little better after ranting but still I am....., 

 DAMN ANNOYED RIGHT NOW!! DOES ANYONE UNDERSTANDS HOW I FEEL?!??!!!

20th Birthday - Part I

Finally sort out the photos from my birthday! A lot of group shots so if you get bored just scroll through alright hahaha. Oh and my eye-bags were so horrible that period of time... Don't judge ok hahahaha.

So the day before my birthday, I already know my Poly clique is going to celebrate for me by treating me to Seoul Garden. Thought that was it so I was quite surprised when I saw helium balloons(first time receiving!), a cake and gifts! Really touched by their efforts, thank you girls :))




















Spent my actual birthday with my Eldest sister because nobody was free as there was school but coincidentally I had no school that day yay. We went Jurong and she treated me to Swensen's, we didn't know JCube have Manhattan Fish Market!! ): I was craving so badly for it somemore... But I had a good meal though :) P/s: Craving for MFM still not satisfied yet.

Went home at night and cut the birthday cake with my Family :) Thank you sis for the pretty candles!!

In a very good mood now

Hi~

I am feeling very happy now, and excited too!!! I got the part-time job that I want and just nice my good friend is from the same company too!! Going for training together tomorrow and she told me there's good food to eat yay hahaha. And, my Mum just got promoted!! More income = Good life for me = Good food. HAHAHA. Also, Bangkok trip is confirmed!!!!!! AHHHHHHHHH CAN'T WAIT!! I want to go on a shopping spree, eat at Greyhound Cafe, Mr Jones' Orphanage & After You, stay at the super cosy suite at Baiyoke Sky hopefully and sit Tuk-tuk!! Hahahaha yayyyy~

I was looking through my photo album on phone and realized I have yet to post about my 20th Birthday haha. It's nothing much but there's lots of food photos!! Will upload the photos here soon!

Eighteen Chefs

Tried Eighteen Chefs for the first time with Ain, Weizhen and Joan awhile back. It was a Friday and we just submitted our FYP so Joan decided to drive us to the Tiong Bahru outlet. We took a total of 1hr 30mins to get there from Lakeside HAHAHA.

The is the platter with cheese fondue. It was just alright/normal, would not recommend this haha oops.


Their famous baked rice/pasta! I love everything except for the overcooked spaghetti which was expected hahaha because I think it's a little hard to achieve Al dente spaghetti if the dish is a baked one.
