IKEA X TCC

Went IKEA a few weeks back with Sis and her best friend :) Told myself to stop shopping online and outside but I couldn't... Hahaha. We went Anchorpoint and I ended up buying a sling bag from Charles & Keith, it was on sale!!! So cannot don't buy hehe.

Please ignore my sleepy face haha. I am forever tired.

FOOOOOOOOOOOD!!

Ikea's food has become so cheap! Especially the meatballs! 20 meatballs for $9-$9.50 only? Used to be more expensive I remember haha.

CAKES.

After shopping we went TCC for a short break before taking the Shuttle bus back! Thank God for the shuttle bus because we were carrying a lot of stuffs, super inconvenient to take MRT home.

I had Tiramisu!

There was so much alcohol in it that halfway through I thought I am going to get tipsy if I finish the entire cup of Tirmisu hahaha.

Got this photo from my Sis's friend. Buffalo wings.

Wedges with Cheese, $9+ I think?
We ordered other food too but I forgot to take photo because I was too focused on creating an instavideo hahaha. My first Instavideo

* * * *

My parcel from Cotton On just arrived!!! SUPER EFFICIENT. I ordered online on Wednesday and today come already!! I thought maybe tomorrow then will arrive haha since it's from Asia and Asia is very big! LOL alright they most probably packed the stocks in Singapore hahaha. Yay bye~ I am going to open my parcel now ^^

Day 3 @ BKK

I MISS BANGKOK!!!

A month has already passed since I came back?! So fast!! Time really flies. Anyway here's Day 3 of BKK haha. It takes forever for me to do long posts like this because I am always procrastinating but I cannot just don't blog about this trip because it's something memorable for me haha so yeah.

First stop: Chinatown

In the cab. The journey was short but took a very very long time to reach because of the frequent jams in BKK! But the fare is cheap so no complains hahaha.

Streets of Chinatown.

Tried some Bird Nest!

It's really cheap according to my mum, paid S$10 for this bowl.

Here at Chinatown you will be able to buy food back! Like Cashew nuts, Dried mango, Pork floss, Cuttlefish etc...

At BKK they always sell glass bottles of drinks like this along the streets.

At Chinatown there're also lots of bags available! More than night markets and cheaper than Platinum.

Second stop: Chatuchak

After that, we headed to CHATUCHAK!!!! Been waiting for this a very long time but turned out to be disappointing... I think because the place was seriously too big and we just ended up walking the wrong corner/side of the place so we didn't buy much here. Definitely there're plenty of clothes and stuffs but you just have to shop at the correct area!

The famous COCONUT ICE-CREAM!!! I am not a huge fan of coconut seriously but this Ice-cream was just TOO GOOD. The coconut taste was not very strong and I love how refreshing it is! Goes really well with Nata De Coco so choose that for both your toppings!

If you're my friend you will know how I love KFC but I actually found a S$1.60 fried chicken in Chatuchak which taste so much more nicer and crispier than KFC?!?! Omg I really miss this...

Paella.

DJ spinning in the middle of Chatuchak HAHA.

Third stop: Siam Square

After Chatuchak we then headed to Siam Square!

GREYHOUND CAFE for dinner, must try!!!

The queue was so long we went downstairs to shop a little. Spotted this cool bike on display!

We waited for about 30-40mins before it was finally our turn. The food there is really damn delicious!! Not expensive and yummy yay.

Clam Chowder.

I prefer cream base over tomato but this Spicy Tomato spag was so so so yummy!! Taste even better than the Carbonara I ordered.

Mine :)

Look at how thin the Spaghetti is! Seldom see this kind of standard in Singapore. It's normally Al dente but 'fat' or just overcooked.

Crabmeat in Prawn sauce with roe. Another yummy dish but the Spicy Tomato was my favourite!

The two desserts we tried was normal only though.

After dinner my second sis, gene and I continued shopping at Siam night market which turned out to be the best night because the 3 of us bought lots of stuff and spent alot of money and only had just enough baht to cab back to the hotel hahaha. It's really the best night market among the rest!

* * * *

Just ended work at F1. It was seriously tiring, so glad that it's over :)
I can't walk properly now because the part above my heel hurts... Mum actually asked me out for dinner tonight(which means good food!!) but I can't go because of this argh. In need of good food to pamper myself for being so hardworking the past 3 days HAHA.

Late night thoughts

I am feeling kind of down right now because of this particular interview which I don't know whether should I give it a try a not. It's coming soon and I just got to know the date yesterday. The thing is, I don't know whether should I go or try next time instead because I don't think I am really prepared for this?

Actually deep down I know this is just an excuse.. What I am really afraid of is something else. I keep telling myself there's no harm trying. I can just "test the water" first since I can retry if I fail and even if I were to get humiliated it would be alright BUT another part of me will think about failure and how disappointed I will be if I did not make it. I really hate feeling disappointed ):

I am sorry to keep you guys in suspense but I don't want to write here what the interview is about.

Have been hearing all these: "YOU NEVER KNOW WHAT MIGHT HAPPEN"  "NO HARM TRYING"   "DON'T TRY = NO CHANCE". But I really.... argh I can't continue this anymore.

Right now I am thinking WAY TOO MUCH, the 'voice' inside my head just won't go away. Working for F1 tomorrow, at least I have something to distract me from all these thoughts.

Goodnight Xx.

Snow skin Mooncakes

Soooooo in love with Snow skin Mooncakes!!!!! Been eating them every single day and I am still not sick of it :)

Introducing my favourite flavour, the white skin one which is Banana flavour! Love it even more when there's DOUBLE YOLKS in it!!! My family love me a lot so whenever we eat Mooncakes right, they would give me the yolk and they will just eat the lotus paste hahaha.

I love this brand "Da Zhong Guo" because it's handmade! This is bought from the Alexandra outlet which has Macadamia nuts in it and the skin is more softer.

Dad bought this from the Chinatown outlet, totally different from the Alexandra outlet because this skin is more chewy which I prefer more! But there're no Macadamia nuts in it though.

Mao Shan Wang Mooncake from Peony Jade. I don't think it's worth price at all... I rather buy the Durian itself hahaha. But Eldest sis insisted and it's her favourite so Mum bought it and alright fine the Mooncake is nice!

Casually mentioned to my Granny that I want to try Mooncakes with liquor in it and guess what?? She bought it for me!!!! I got so surprised because it's the first time ever my Granny bought liquor Mooncakes haha. She bought two kinds for me, Champange Truffle and Rum & Raisins hehe love her so much :)

Lastly.., the traditional Mooncakes. I still prefer my Snow skin ones!!

Happy Mid-Autumn Festival everyone!! Just 2 days away~

Last Saturday

Went JB last Saturday with my Family :)
If you don't already know, I always go Malaysia with my Family every month, sometimes more than once a month to eat, shop and do hair treatments hahaha. We would travel further to Malacca but that happens like once or twice a year. Most of the times it's just JB! But even after going soooo many times, I still look forward to the trip everytime!

For lunch we dined at our favourite Chinese restaurant at Sutera Mall!! Mum said it's cheap so yeah it is cheap! Plus the currency rate keeps getting better whoop.

Disappointing durian pancakes...

Guess what is this!!

Salted Egg Custard Steamed Buns!!!!

I absolutely LOVE any food which comes with Salted Egg Yolk!!!! Other than vegs with salted yolk, the rest I all love!! YUMS.
Fyi, this is not my hand lol.

Decided to explore the shop-houses outside Sutera Mall since I've shopped at the mall many times already.

Went back to the mall after awhile because the heat outside was killing me haha. Bought my Macaroons as usual!

Then we went to Xu Liu Shan for Mango desserts. Sis told me this brand is very famous in HK!

Almost all the desserts have Mangoes in it!

I love the Mango syrup/gravy/soup LOL idk what should I call it but you know what I am talking about!

I wanted to blog about BKK Day 3 but there're so many photos and being the lazy girl...... Hahaha so postpone! On a random note, recently I found out my Granny keep feeling dizzy and I am starting to worry. I think ALOT and it's making me feel very uneasy... I really hope she's not sick or something and will be fine soon. I love my Granny alot!!!
