49 Seats

A few weeks back my sister told me to join this particular contest on 49 Seats's Facebook so I went to check and found out all it takes is a 'like' and 'share' so I just did it. I seldom join this kind of thing because firstly I will feel the promotion or whatsoever hahaha is a scam and secondly, I just don't have the luck you know because there are probably a few hundreds or thousands joining as well. Anyway, out of about a thousand people 4 winners was chosen and I was one of the lucky ones!!!

So one fine morning I received this in my Ask.fm... AND GOT A REALLY HUGE SHOCK.

Thought it was just a prank at first but then I saw the email was given too so no harm emailing hahaha. Turned out to be true! Oh before I move on, the prize is Complimentary meals (Soup of the day + Main course + Drink) for FOUR PEOPLE!!! Booked the date and reserved seats in the same week haha because I simply can't wait. Reached 49 Seats and I was still in doubt but everything turned out fine, guess I was just thinking too much on the scamming part :)

We were allowed to choose ANY Main course and drinks! Had a hard time choosing my main course because there were so many dishes I wanted to try hahaha. Most prices NOT stated this time because everything was free *coughs* so erhm I did not took notice the prices of the food I ordered heh. But it's affordable, this I can ensure you. Not more than $20(except steaks) for a dish, nett price too!

Photo I posted on Instagram

Their coffee looks so complete. Milk, biscuits and sugar cubes ^^

Blackcurrant fizzy drink.

Soup of the day - Pumpkin soup with croutons! Even their soup looks complete with melted cheese bread nom nom.

Saw on Insta how everyone raved about their Tom yum pasta so I had to order and try too!! THUMBS UP *MUST TRY*  I was afraid it would just be spiciness without the SOURNESS (it's Tom yum so have to be sour) but I was wrong! Lived up to my expectation HAHAHA. Love how the sauce was creamy and thick mmmm.. Cravings.

Chicken Chop was really damn good! The meat was really juicy and tender, it's a *MUST TRY*. You can choose the sauce you like too! The pasta salad was not to my liking though, too sour and a little overcooked. I recommend their Mash potato as a side, it's really yummy! (You can see in the next photo)

Sirloin steak with Black pepper sauce. I don't really like to eat beef as a whole so I can't say much for this dish but my Sister who loves beef enjoyed eating so I am guessing it's pretty yummy? :)

Pan fried fish with Alscampi Sauce. Their sauce is DA BOMB, seriously not joking. *MUST TRY*

Here's the sauce if you are wondering haha. It comes separately with the fish. Fresh juicy prawns(YUMS!!) with mussel and clams. The cream is really SUPER DUPER GOOD.

I forgot to mention who I invited for this complimentary meal. My family of course ^^ Two sisters and granny plus me haha.

We ate up to a total of $100+! Felt really bad so we ordered ONE dessert LOL. $8.90. We were all very full. There were cheese breads, soup, drink and the main course itself plus my granny don't eat much too so we helped her eat and was pretty much bloated after that. Stomach no room for desserts hahaha.

Personally I think that trying the main course is enough. Desserts well..., the light bites would be a better choice! Like their Cheese fries?!! - $7.90. Credits to Google :) My sister went to try their Cheese fries recently and like shown in the photo, they literally spammed the cheese!! Till the very last fry there is still cheese, according to my sister haha. Going to try it one day myself!

Thank you 49 Seats for having us! Had a really wonderful and satisfying meal :) Oh and their waiter was so nice. Without us asking he gave extra 4 utensils (we have one pair each already) and small plates because he knew that we were sharing. If you get it. But it was not necessary though oops cause we did not use the extras hahaha. Anyway I would definitely visit 49 Seats again to try other dishes like Classic Carbonara and Cheese fries!! Up on my Food check-list now heh. Love the place.
